Hello again!

Install package inxi, then run in terminal inxi -Fxxxmprz

Post the command and it's output in code tags, which you get from the top line, black box which has </>.

An example:

Code:

arto@debian:~$ inxi -FxxxmprzSystem: Kernel: 6.12.43+deb13-amd64 arch: x86_64 bits: 64 compiler: gcc v: 14.2.0 clocksource: tsc Desktop: Xfce v: 4.20.1 tk: Gtk v: 3.24.48 wm: xfwm4 v: 4.20.0 with: xfce4-panel vt: 1 dm: xinit Distro: Debian GNU/Linux 13 (trixie)Machine: Type: Desktop Mobo: T-bao model: MINI PC serial: <superuser required> uuid: <superuser required> UEFI: American Megatrends v: 1.0.5 date: 08/22/2023Memory: System RAM: total: 32 GiB available: 29.34 GiB used: 2.66 GiB (9.1%) Message: For most reliable report, use superuser + dmidecode. The listing is longer, just showed you the procedure.

Inxi is a good tool to show specs without asking clarifying questions. Those xxx are there to hide any sensitive parts.

Hello again,
I tried the command and saw that I was using Wayland despite being convinced that I was on X11, I followed the instruction for setting up wayland with the nvivia driver from the wiki wiki and after a bit of tinkering everything seem to be working fine. Thanks for your help and sorry for having wasted your time.
