Hi Frank,
i found an 'ipp-usb' thingy active and installed. I removed it completely and re-installed all sane-stuff.
No change of anything.
I found many years old cases via internet queries, which tell stories about complications with CUPS.
Therefore, i do assume the latest CUPS updates may have done something.
But if it is about deep-linux, i am just a blind guy guessing.
