What version of Lxqt is Lubuntu using? Same as Sid? Can you find any history there? Maybe they fixed a bug and didn't share upstream?

@eriefisher

Had a moment to check the two versions, seemingly Sid is using a newer version of LXQT 2.3.0 whereas even the development version of Lubuntu is using 2.2.0 . . . . Both have QT 6.9.2.

Haven't had a chance to check the github lxqt issues page.

[edit] After I posted above I ran again an apt dist-upgrade in Sid, showing 10 packages to upgrade, among them "lxqt-panel" . . . clicking go again brings the error:

Code:

Preparing to unpack .../9-lxqt-panel_2.3.2-1_amd64.deb ...Unpacking lxqt-panel (2.3.2-1) over (2.2.2-1+b1) ...dpkg: error processing archive /tmp/apt-dpkg-install-GVUebV/9-lxqt-panel_2.3.2-1_amd64.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite '/etc/xdg/lxqt/panel.conf', which is also in package lxqt-branding-debian (0.14.0.7)Errors were encountered while processing: /tmp/apt-dpkg-install-GVUebV/9-lxqt-panel_2.3.2-1_amd64.debError: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Went over to the github issues page, but I don't have the time right now to mess with their "bug report" process . . . only other option, start a discussion?? [/edit]
