Haha, yep. I remember when I first got my broadband probably ~2000 and it was something like 128 x 256 kbps. I thought that was blazing fast but was insanely jealous of a friend in Jersey who had Optimum Online(?) that was a whole 256 up x full 1MB down! WOAH!!! They had a...was it called a T2 line (T1?), at work (major auto parts chain, corporate headquarters) that looked like a big rack/router full of like 24+ phone lines. I think that was only 1 or 2 MB/s.That was common in the '90ies, as broadband was mostly in the unis', that there were books sold with companion cd-roms.
