Yeah, I only do it because a lot of my stuff gets 'shared' with my Windows install (think like a big archive full of wallpapers). I could switch to 100% 7-zip on both, but there are a few things I don't like about how that behaves vs Winrar in Windows so I use both. Just one of 'those' things where I can't find a perfect solution across the board. That's OK though because it won't be long before I dump Windows completely. Anything after Windows 10 is not happening on my stuff unless MS totally rethinks their ideas on spying and forcing things on customers...and that ain't happening in any way I can imagine.The first time for years I see anyone using rar. Valid, but linux world is so much to gz.
