It's simple enough to install gnome on MX with tasksel--and then even make your own customized distro ISO using MX-snapshot.Thanks! I think I know what you meant. VBox 7.2.24 has been backported to under the Trixie big umbrella, but not in the Trixie repositories (including Trixie backports):7.2.24 has been backported for Trixie and is in the MX 25 repositories, along with its guest-additions-iso and ext-pack packages.Only in MX-25 repositories.Code:
ryzen@acer16:/extra/0.recent$ cat trixie-backports.allpackages.txt | grep virtualboxvirtualbox-guest-modules virtual package provided by linux-image-cloud-amd64, linux-image-rt-amd64, linux-image-amd64
We were interested in MX Linux, except the corporate world only recognizes one form of Linux--gnome. There is nothing we can do about that.
I believe there is an MX user that has made his own MX GNOME respin, but...you'd have to trust him not to be eeeeeevil.
