I am looking forward to retiring my ThinkPad T440s, so I am wondering what do you think is the "best" Debian laptop, according to the following criteria, and why:
* Hardware compatibility (sorry Nvidia, you don't make the cut!) The computer should run on Debian flawlessly and with a minimum of non-free firmware.
* Performance. Self explanatory, it should be fast enough to run Debian with the heaviest desktop environments the next 5-7 years. Faster is better.
* Upgradability. How easy is it to upgrade RAM, storage, battery, etc.
* Build quality. How well is it put together, what materials are used, etc.
* Price in relation to the four points above.
Suggestions?
