Debian newbie, first forum post. I have installed debian 12 on a old 32-bit laptop. It worked fine for a while and have been happy. Due to the low specs of the laptop, I use Chromium rather than Firefox as it is less CPU intensive. However, I got a recent software update (done automatically on next shutdown and reboot). Now when I start Chromium I get "stack smashing detected" and will not start. How do I fix this? Fortunately, I have a backup where I can go back and forth before the debian update and after the debian update, so I can provide system info before and after.
Previous Chromium version that worked: 130.0.6723.116
Current Chromium version that fails: 131.0.6778.85
