12 to 24 months reboot due to system error is what we aim for. One of my friends told me that figure at their workplace with Ubuntu CLI version. It runs under Windows because company policy is Windows.server that has been running for 2 years
No doubt that a properly configurated and administrated Linux system can do 12 to 24 months error reboot. My Samsung Android phone achieved that level since many years ago.
We are just starting on Linux (non Debian and with Desktop). So far, three re-installations in a few days. One was our error. Two were unknown. Hopefully CLI version will be better???
Like any machine, Linux will not work well when human is not "enough qualify". Windows cost a lot of $$$ but it catches many human errors and can run nicely with less qualify administrator (the mass consumer).
Any idea (book, ebook, video) how we can becoming "enough qualify" to run Debian?
