Hello Sir,Hello, welcome to the forums!ifupdown is installed in an early stage by "anna".It can find package "ifupdown", while it reports "Package [xxx] is not available" for aptitude, nis, autofs, net-tools.Could you useI use "in-target apt-get install [package_name] -y; \" to install a few packages into the new Debian instance."in-target apt-get update; \"
just before?
I added "in-target apt-get update; \" before "in-target apt-get install nis autofs net-tools -y; \", and it gets my problem fixed immediately.
I have a question about this: do i need to use "apt-get update" every time before I use "apt-get install" ? I thought "apt-get update" is executed automatically when I execute "apt-get install".
