Every time a new kernel point release occurs, it takes a little bit of time for Nvidia drivers to catch up and release a compatible version. It's less an issue for Nouveau than the proprietary drivers.The biggest problem, is with the nVidia graphics cards.
It's almost never an issue in Stable as the kernel doesn't get new point releases.No we wouldn't. There is some useful discussion happening in this topic.Perhaps I will PM a mod to request that it be closed, although I don't know if they would do that.
