Mint LMDE came with inxi, so you could have run it to get full system information, including drivers.
From the dim recesses of my memory, I believe that the AR9485 uses one of the very few totally free drivers, not even needing nonfree firmware. The kernel driver is ath9k.
You could run one of many fine Linux distros in a Live USB session on that machine to get the same information.
