Installation • Re: How to update 11 to 13/Trixie, migrate from old to new laptop.

Based on https://www.debian.org/CD/verify,
this was run as root, with/without "SHA512SUMS" in the iso's directory

sha512sum --ignore-missing --check SHA512SUMS debian-13.3.0-amd64-netinst.iso

Result is

sha512sum --ignore-missing --check debian-13.3.0-amd64-netinst.iso
sha512sum: WARNING: 3042278 lines are improperly formatted
sha512sum: debian-13.3.0-amd64-netinst.iso: no file was verified

The iso was downloaded from a torrent. My isp may get better UP/Down speeds if asked.
