I installed this today when I looked at the information about the package it was about the shared C client library for PostgreSQL. It said NOTHING about any other software.

I have the Nvidia-open drivers installed.
Upon restarting the computer the machine stopped booting at Nvidia Persistance Service.
I restarted and went back to the previous kernel.
