Hello fellow Debians,
I come to you today bearing a slight issue. For some context I have recently switched from Windows 11 to Debian 13 (wonderful, I know), however I have been running into one consistent issue with my microphone. Despite it showing up in the sound panel and in pavucontrol, it gives no output. I have tried several different things to attempt to remedy it, such as:
1. Resetting the USB using usbreset
2. Upping the volume and unlocking the channel in pavucontrol
3. Using several different cables, each to no avail
4. Reinstalling pulseaudio and pipewire
5. Manually connecting the audio input using a GUI
I'm on my last legs here and could really use some help, if any of y'all have some advice it would be much appreciated
