I would suggest installing the .deb files again, in order, and running 'apt update' as root after each .deb is installed. That is supposed to add the repositories. DO NOT use 'su -', but instead do it exactly as explained in the Proton how-to.
All I did was enter superuser mode, then do the commands. The command sequence doesn't work.
