You can stop and start the wayland display from SSH with a dbus-session command.
You can also stop and start the rdp server via SSH.
I am not talking about x redirection or an SSH tunnel.TC
OK so you're talking in terms of tidying up after remote graphical sessions so the system is more secure in between sessions?
That makes more sense now.
My apologies for taking what you were saying the wrong way. Perhaps if you had phrased your response as more of a howto rather than a series of questions, I wouldn't have assumed you were challenging me and obliquely telling me to do something else.
Which is my experience with other fora and Reddit. Ask a question and get half a dozen responses telling you to do something else.
