@arzgi Please don't spread lies. With offhanded remarks like that I cannot assume good faith. I know the media does this too but you should not repeat it without investigating first.

The german power production costs are lower than in most other countries. Like Finland Germany uses wind (and solar) which together are more than half of the production. No production outages as well.

Only about 40% of the end-user price for electricity is the cost of power production, the rest - 60%! - is taxes, duties and legal fees (1). That's a deliberate government decision, you might agree with it or not, but it has nothing to do with "closed their nuclear power stations". Germany only comes out on top because of taxes. This fact is deliberately ignored by media and other people who lobby for the return to nuclear power.
