I have a synology nas with vpnserver installed. I created a config file VPNThuis.ovpn which I copied to my android phone, to lmde7 in a virtual machine and to mint xfce 22.3 on a laptop.
test result:
- android: openvpn app: my ip changes after starting the vpn to the IPv4 adres. OK!
- LMDE7: my ip changes after starting the vpn to the IPv4 adres. OK! Here is the command with the output
Code:
sudo openvpn --config '/home/peer/vpn/VPNThuis.ovpn' [sudo] password for peer:

The only difference I see is the IP-adress. LMDE7 uses IPv4 and mint xfce22.3 uses IPv6.
I think this is the problem. Can this be so?? How do I solve this?
