Should I just check every package currently installed (via Synaptic) with the word 'mesa' in it and then list them all? The mesa has so many moving parts, will that method get everything I need?
No,

Code:

sudo apt install -t bookworm-backports mesa-va-drivers -s
should be all you need.

Hope this helps -
First of all sorry for resurrecting and old thread but at the same time it feels kinda silly to make a whole new topic for this one question.

I read to you advise to use:

Code:

mesa-va-drivers
A lot of others places i read to use:

Code:

mesa-vulkan-drivers
What exactly is the difference between these two and when or why should you use one or the other (or even both?)
