I need what used to be called iscan-bundle-2.30.4.x64.deb or the modern equivalent. Can't seem to find anything for my Epson Perfection Photo Scanner model 4990. And no, Epson does not have it.

If you are still interested I discovered I had downloaded this bundle in early 2024 from the Epson site. Hope it helps.

I have attempted to use that bundle. I get the error "E: Unable to locate package libsane".
I found this thread < https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=436282> and tried this "
sudo dpkg -i libsane_1.1.1-5_amd64.deb" from one of the posts in order to install libsane_1.1.1-5. I still get the error.
I installed libsane1 an am told it is already installed.
Then there is mention of editing the bundle so that it points to libsane1. This is something I would need help with.
