Programming • Install RUST development tools

Hello all,

To start learning the Rust programming language I would like to install the necessary Rust development tools and an IDE.
I am looking for a recommendation which way to to start without harming my Debian installation.
Is there perhaps a Rust sub forum within the Debian User Forum?

Debian seems to have some Rust components already installed.
Does the rust tool chain installation via rustup conflict with the existing Debian Rust elements already installed? Version control (update-upgrade-etc.)?

Same question again! What if I would install RustRover or VS Code instead of rustup?
