System and Network configuration • Re: [SOLVED] Debian 11 system get stuck at boot screen after: "Failed to start Helper to synchronize boot up for ifupdow

Hi,

My Debian startup script (or more exactly your! script) hangs at every next-of error(s) I resolve while ending stuck before Gnome UI.

This is not a nvme nor memory integrity (all passed, just one nvme has 1400 errors while passing tests: no badblocks).

I have after boot a 'gdm3 int3 trap' that complains about libglib2.0.os.0.8400.4
linked (?) to a nvidia out-of-tree kernel taint / module license taints kernel.

I have reinstalled headers, nvidia-driver, kms, looked into gdm3 and enabled non-wayland (I used X11 preferably),
(All possible permissions to all repositories of the non-free world welcomed),

unrelated?
some dmsg | grep "Bug" output AE_ALREADY_EXISTS also AE_NOT_FOUND
PCI: Using host bridge windows from ACPI; if necessary use "pci=nocrs" and report a bug
Also a failure to load cirrus

I am under Trixie, tried recently some uneducated adm connections to a phone.
Prior to that I had installed KVM, ran a 32gb mem guest to try gemma3 models from goog and I could have forgotten to leave the guest in a clean way... I believe virt is not enabled in systemd yet I forgot how to check.

I am unable to understand the config in my gdm3 alias file, just too many arguments for my level and I don't want to play with them on my own.

Would you believe my situation is similar to yours?
