My glmark2 score was 2135.
When I tried added that line about Xe to GRUB, all I got was a blinking cursor when XOrg tried to load.
The slowing down of typing occurred twice more, in KDE with X11. An interesting note that it isn't just physical typing. I use Espanso a lot, and when this issue is occurring, replacing strings also slows down the same way.
