FYI, the installer's default behavior isn't a bug.
For future reference, which installer are we talking about, Standard or Calamares?[/size]
Fair enough. I just found it very user-un-friendly. I always use manual partitioning, and thought creating an EFI (ESP?) partition and setting it to "boot" should be enough to make the installer use it. At some point I have even used the manual grub install (not using the "primary/main disk option") and pointed it directly at the "correct" ESP partition and it STILL used another EFI on another drive.

I used the standard installer. Can't say about Calamares.
