How do I back out of this?
I am following a guide on how to run sid packages on testing (to get VirtualBox working again after switching to trixie) and of course this guide doesn't work because there is no sources.list and the new format is a complete mystery to me.
Every guide in the documentation is going to need to be changed to reflect this new way of configuring sources. Crazy.
In the meantime, plenty of folks are going to be making a real mess of things following guides that refer to /etc/apt/sources.list
So, again, can I back out of this "modernization" and if so, how?
