General Questions • Opera browser for Debian, best way to install?

OK, so, I actually already have Opera. Having used this browser for many years, it is my go-to in other OSes. I quite frankly don't care for Firefox, Chrome, Edge, or other browsers, although I will use them IF and only if they are better for something in particular.

I've noticed that Debian lists Opera as proprietary, it's not in the repos. So far I've installed it by using the x64 deb package from their official website. Upon installing the deb with dpkg, it asked to install a custom repo so that it can fetch future updates when I install Debian updates. This has been working for awhile now, I've encountered no obvious issues.

Aside from Flatpak, Snap, or manual deb installing, is there an "official"/recommended way to get my preferred browser in Debian. I will summarily ignore any suggestions to use other browsers on the basis of "but they're in the official repos", so dont, just dont.
