Looks like I do have the Radeon repos in my sources list, and they are the same URLs as the Discover URLs:

Hit https://repo.radeon.com/amdgpu/6.3.1/ubuntu jammy InRelease
Hit https://repo.radeon.com/rocm/apt/5.4.3 focal InRelease

But why do I get an update list on Discover that includes more packages than the update list from apt?

The Discover updates also includes some AMD HIP libraries that I hadn't mentioned in my previous post.

Is the Discover list safe?

When I dry run the rocm cmake package, I do get a response that the rocm 6.3.1 will be removed (among other apparently critical packages), which I spent a lot of time installing.

aptitude -V -s install rocm-cmake

^^^ My OS wants to remove all that stuff just to install rocm-cmake.

There is a new version of rocm (rocm-6.3.2) that just came out. Am I just supposed to change my Radeon repo to /6.3.2 and go from there? Is that what all this is telling me?
