Yes indeed, even with these supposed problems that get all this attention like the xz, ssh, rsync the last notable one to get all the attention. They are never really exploited like windows is on a pretty much daily basis, they are more theoretical problems that could occur in the right circumstances. A vast difference to hundreds of millions of computers infected at a time the windows junk has at regular intervals. I should be a little more grateful for Microsoft putting out that garbage it has made me piles of money all these decades fixing that junk...And yes: If "Linux" has an exploit there will be a big booooooooooooom.
