Why not revert to 0.8.10-1 , if 0.9.0-1 has issue(s) , instead of removing & nothing ?
To avoid to manually downloading then installing the stable or unstable .deb .

It isn't vmpk that was the problem, it's one of its dependencies. vpmk depends on libdrumstick and libdrumstick introduces a regression.

ssues preventing migration:
∙ ∙ Updating libdrumstick would introduce bugs in testing: #1081716
∙ ∙ missing build on arm64
∙ ∙ arch:arm64 not built yet, autopkgtest delayed there
