why do you think that it is not a graceful solution?
misreference a bit (not mine)
there's also another option with log2ram
I think journal already solves logging with configuration options that make log2ram redundant on a systemd system.
Why not, there's still a lot of systemd-journald's IO write operations indicated by 'iotop -Pao' unless volatile storage settings used,
with storage=volatile logs aren't synchronized to disk (if I got it correctly from its manual) like with log2ram.
