forgot to say I like also pycharm, but there is no .deb file and I do not want use snap/flathub packages on my main Debian Testing system.
I tried pycharm on a VM with Vanilla OS2, but just for fun.
You can download the tar.gz and just put it in /usr/local/bin or something. Is what I do. No update via package manager is a small price to pay. PyCharm worth the effort, even the community version which is what I use.
I believed tar.gz archive was for compiling the full program ...
downloaded and start playing, fine enough to go on.
