AMD didn't release a Linux driver for this card until about two months ago so it's unlikely it's gonna work with Debian's proprietary drivers in Stable right now.
How to get rid of the Nvidia stuff? As root:You should be able to use open-source drivers for the AMD card now. Please note that Debian does not recommend installing drivers from the vendor's website. https://wiki.debian.org/DontBreakDebian ... ll_scripts
