The easiest way in my opinion is to use the .tar.gz file you can download from them. Extract the firefox directory and run the app contained in it. It is self contained in that directory with the profile loaded from ~/.mozilla/firefox/ directory this is where you would check in your current version to see where it loads from for conflicts. To do this use the Hamburg menu, I think they call it on far right three lines, Help -> More trouble shooting information.
So do you have any script which can help installing this safely in parallel?
How the AppImage or Flatpak (which seems easiest for me to install) application settings differ from a Debian package application settings? Is it using same path so a different app versions can modify the settings and render it unusable by the different app version?
