I've been a Debian user on and of since the early 2000s back when your only choice for an audio system was alsthe it progressed to pulseaudio and after that came pipewire.
Now adays when ever I do a fresh install of Debian I immediately log in and head striaght for synaptic package manager and install pipe wire and wireplumber. Of course I include pipewire-media session-pulse or just out right compleetly remove pulse and go straight to synaptis package manager and remove all pulse audio related packages and role with just pauvo,pipewire and wireplumber.,
