Thanks again @wizard10000Happy to help.
Testing isn't designed to be used in production, which I think might be the reason they don't identify LTS kernels.
A lot of people run Testing as their go-to, I personally run Sid and have for quite a few years but the purpose of Testing is to test packages for the next Stable release. In Debian *everything* is about Stable
Enjoy Testing - if you're interested I put together a readme on how to run a development distribution effectively - https://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?t=153193
I read the link you posted and I as well installed
Code:
apt-listbugsI thought of sid but I preferred Testing as it is more stable and more tested.
In my humble point of view, Testing gives me the best of both worlds, I install and configure only once without the need ever to make a fresh install when a nee release comes out, whilst enjoying the wonderful stability of Debian. Adding apt-listbugs makes it even better and safer testing.
(By the way, I tried recently endeavouros again for like 24 hours but I found Debian more convenient for me.
I am after 2 things:
- install only once
- stability
I don’t really care about having the latest.
Thank you all for the wonderful Debian and for Testing, and above all for the wonderful support I am getting.
