Yes! "only" is the key word. The system creates super long and complex passwords but you're probably not going to remember them so hopefully the company does not lose them.

Could the MAC GUI be the successor? I haven't used MAC but I thought it was a UNIX derivative. And knowing how MAC loves "reuse", think Xerox mouse/windows/icons, I would think the MAC GUI was based upon an X derivative. If MAC is using X and MAC does not have the data sharing issue I wonder if the solution is there.

He describes the problem along code in a written format.
